This year, the Christmas Midnight Mass for the Anderson parishes will be held at St. Ambrose. There will be a combined choir for this celebration. Practices will be held on December 15 and 22 at 10:45 am, immediately following the morning Mass at St. Ambrose. Join us! You do not have to have sung in a choir before or know how to read music in order to participate.
There will be special Mass times for Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving. There will be NO Adoration, Confessions, or 7 PM Mass at St. Mary Anderson on Thanksgiving Day. Click here for more details!

St. Ambrose Church is in need of a Sacristan who can not only do the normal Mass duties but can also assist with laundering the altar linens, setting up for a funeral, and providing the church office with candle, host, and wine inventories. We had a great response to Recycle Weekend, which took place on October 26-27 in all three of the parishes in our Anderson-Alexandria Pastorate. In all, we collected over 1,000 pounds of aluminum and other metal cans, and received almost $450 for the cans. Click here for more details!
During Red Ribbon Week, Holy Cross School invited Detective Brian Gehrke from the Anderson Police Department to speak with our G2-G8 students about the dangers of vaping, drugs, pills, and other addictive substances.
For our August Day of Service, Holy Cross School collected 214 boxes of macaroni and cheese for the St. Mary Food Pantry. Great job, students, families, and staff!
On September 18, the students, staff, and families of Holy Cross School donated 520 bars of bath soap to the Anderson St. Vincent de Paul Society
St. Mary School’s 6th, 7th, and 8th graders experienced their annual Jr. High Faith and Leadership Retreat from Oct. 30th to Nov. 1st at Camp Rancho Framasa in southern Indiana.
