The Panera Bread Ministry is a heartwarming tradition that has been enriching our community for years.
Each Friday evening, our devoted volunteers head to Panera Bread just before closing time to collect the surplus bread and pastries that would otherwise go unsold.
Once collected, it is then transported to our food pantry, where, on Saturdays, a team of volunteers slice and bag the bread to prepare it for distribution over the weekend.
You can find this bread ready for pickup just inside the front doors of St. Mary Church. Any remaining bread is swiftly directed to the Food Pantry, ensuring it reaches even more people in need.
Join us in this weekly act of kindness and enjoy the satisfaction of giving back, one loaf at a time.
The Panera Bread Ministry is calling for dedicated volunteers to help!
Every Friday evening, our team collects surplus bread from Panera Bread, and we need enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the collection.
On Saturdays, we also need volunteers to help cut, bag, and prepare the bread for distribution.
Whether you can spare an hour on a Friday or Saturday, your time and energy will directly impact those who benefit from this weekly generosity.
Join us in this fulfilling mission and help spread warmth and nourishment throughout our community.
