While the parking lots appear to be in good condition, a recent gas-leak repair and the development of a small sinkhole indicate potential problems below the surface. Because the asphalt is not sealed properly, water infiltration can cause degradation of the base of the parking lots, creating the need for more extensive (and more expensive) repairs in the future.
The project: The parking lot surface on the south side of the building will be removed and new asphalt will be installed.
